In the second semifinal of The African Cup of Nations, Cameroon beat Ghana by 2 to 0 in Franceville. The Camerron goals was scored by Michael Ngadeu and Christian Bassogog.

The “Indomitable Lions” surprised Ghana and they are in their seventh final without being favourites.
In the first half, Hugo Bross’ team started better and Razak became the figure during the first thirty minutes of game. Afful intercepted a header from Taikeu on the line and then, the goalkeeper of the Spanish Cordoba Club prevented the opening of the score twice.

The first half showed Cameroon being the protagonist and Ghana gave away the initial 45′ just like it did with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The beginning of the 2nd half was different. Ghana reacted and started to reach the target of Cameroon. First, the “Black Stars” arrived with a cross shot that passed near the right post of Sevilla goalkeeper and then, Ondoa bounced off a shot from Wakaso but neither Amartey nor Andrew Ayew could scored.
After these occasions, Cameroon struck.

At 27th minutes, the Lyons has a free kick from right side of the pitch, the back Boyé was not paying atention and Ngadeu scored 1 to 0 partial.
Since that moment, Ghana was searching the tie but it was not precise in the definition. In adition, Ondoa stopped some shots from their forwards. In aditional time, Cameroon scored the last goal of the match by Bassogog and sentenced the game.
Next Sunday, Cameroon will play the final of the African Cup of Nations against Egypt and try  to win this competition for the 5th time.
